“Fantastic location, great food and a world class tutoring on Scotland’s national drink” Review 2016

“We had a great time, the atmosphere was great and the food delicious. The staff at the restaurant was very attentive. I will highly recommend the restaurant and the Glengoyne supper during the Fringe” Diner review 2017

“To top off the husky evening, Cannonball is situated right on the Royal Mile, and with that fortune comes the opportunity to enjoy the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo’s closing parade right from the private courtyard or a window ledge. The sight of tartan and the stirring sound of pipes and drums has to be the most authentic setting for getting tipsy on whisky.” Broadway Baby Review 2017 – read the full review here

A fantastic opportunity to meet a whisky aficionado and learn about the history of whisky in one of the city’s oldest and most important 16th Century buildings with stunning views down the Royal Mile.

The evening will start with a tutored whisky tasting by our Glengoyne Brand Ambassador and include three delicious Glengoyne nips. The tasting is followed by a sensational two course supper prepared by our award winning team at Cannonball Restaurant.

In addition you’ll be able to hear the closing parade from the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo from our courtyard – A truly spectacular end to the night.
