Dinner with Olive Oil Producer Sofia Di Ciacca


Join us for dinner with Sofia Di Ciacca our Olive Oil Producer at Contini Ristorante – Wednesday 20 April, 7.30pm

A very special dinner and taste three vintages of this beautiful oil. Hear Sofia tell her story and enjoy a three-course supper and a glass of wine on arrival for £30.00 per person. Bottles of olive oil will also be there to buy on the night for a special Contini price of £13.95.

Come and hear the story of Carina’s family, the Di Ciaccas, who recently returned to their  roots in Picinisco, Lazio to produce single estate extra virgin olive oil and organic honeys. The olives are collected by hand at their farm, I Ciacca. Most of the trees are over fifty years old, and no chemicals have ever been used on the land. They have a mixture of the Leccina, Itrana, Moraiolo and the local Marina varieties. Marina is an interesting, indigenous olive – especially high in polyphenols producing a wonderful peppery oil. Come and learn the full story, spaces are limited so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
