Nairn Book and Arts Festival

Victor and Carina travelled with their daughters to Nairn over the weekend to showcase some of the abundant fresh produce from the Kitchen Garden with recipes from Carina’s Kitchen Garden Cookbook. Our bumper courgette harvest has been put to very good use in Contini Ristorante over the Summer as regular readers and guests will know, and among the recipes Carina shared with festival visitors was a very simple Raw Courgette salad with Parmigiano Reggiano dressed with Pesto Genovese. The pesto recipe can be found on page 190 of Carina’s cookbook. Victor, Carina and the children thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the festival and were thrilled by the enthusiastic and warm welcome of the people they met in Nairn. Grazie!
