A rare opportunity to have a private view.

Indulge your wanderlust when you visit this solo exhibition of paintings by the renowned Belfast born artist, Sir John Lavery. Dip your toes in the sun, sea and society of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Travel through the extraordinary life of Lavery as he went ‘on location’, from Scotland to New York via Paris and Morocco. Take in tantalising portraits, impressionistic landscapes and idyllic scenes of leisure against a backdrop of Tangier, Palm Springs and the Venice Lido. Be whisked away to Switzerland, Spain, Ireland and Italy, as well as cities such as Glasgow, Seville, Monte Carlo and New York. Lavery was primarily a painter of society portraits and contemporary scenes.

He is sometimes referred to as the ‘Belfast-born Glasgow Boy’.

Your guests will enjoy drinks and canapes prior to the viewing whilst an art expert introduces them to the works of this most influential of painters from history. After the special introduction guests will be free to enjoy a private view of the exhibition.

Your experience will last two hours.
