Our exclusive private dining room is perfectly located at 103 George Street, in the heart of the New Town of Edinburgh city centre.

Located in the former vault of our iconic Georgian banking hall, the Bellavista Room at Contini George Street’s seats up to 16 guests. Space in The Italian Bar can be provided for pre dinner drinks on request. From casual brunch parties, birthday celebrations, hearty corporate lunches or discreet business meetings, our private dining room can cater for a variety of events and functions.

For larger groups than 16 guests please contact our events team on 0131 225 1550 (ext 4) to discuss your booking and tailor it to your needs. For very special events our main dining room is available to hire exclusively for up to 96 guests.

Confidence - fine food, professional and private

The Bellavista room is located in the former vault of our iconic Georgian banking hall venue. Our intimate and cosy private dining space can seat up to 16 guests around our bespoke oval dining table. We do not charge a room hire but ask that you guarantee a minimum spend , to be spent on food and drink - £300 for breakfast bookings, £500 for lunch and £600 for dinner bookings.



Breakfast Menu:
Breakfast package £25 per person to include:
Contini Focaccia with Graham’s The Family Dairy unsalted butter and Ramsay’s of Carluke bacon or grilled mushroom as vegetarian option
Baskets of homemade doughnuts
Freshly pressed orange juice
Two servings of Contini Coffee or Tea

Lunch Menu:
Three course menu £45 per person
Guests will order from our daily changing menu with three choices per course

Dinner Menu: 
Guests will order from our daily changing menu with three choices per course £50 or try our fantastic six course tasting menu at £60

* Please note that any menus displayed are subject to change as we use fresh seasonal produce. Your actual menu will be shared the week of the event.



Minimum Spend:

If the minimum spend quoted at time of booking is not met on the day, a flat fee will be added to the final bill in order to reach the agreed figure. Please note, the minimum spend is applicable only on food and beverage spend. 

Due to supplier pricing fluctuating across the globe, we cannot guarantee that the pricing quoted at time of booking will remain the same, particularly if you are booking more than 3 months in advance of the event date. We do reserve the right to adjust pricing in line with supplier costs.
We require a non refundable deposit. See cancellation policy below.
Cancellation Fee:

Should you require to cancel your booking, a provisional estimate of the pre-booked food and drink , will be liable to a cancellation fee: 

21 to 30 days prior to arrival 50% cancellation fee applies 

14 to 20 days prior to arrival 75% cancellation fee applies 

0 to 13 days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee applies 

Discretionary gratuity:
A 10% discretionary gratuity will be added to your final bill, and is payable at your discretion.

Special requirements:
Should any member of your party have any special requirements, allergy, dietary or otherwise, please inform us at the time of booking. Any last minute announcements made on arrival of guests may not be able to be catered for.

Our private dining room on the lower ground floor is available for exclusive use for private fine dining. Parties from 10 to 16 catered for, so perfect for your small private dining experience.

We are happy to help plan your next event at the Contini George Street. For groups of 10 or more, we offer a wonderful set menu featuring your favourite Contini George Street dishes. For larger parties, we can work with you to design the perfect menu or discuss venue options.
