Homemade pasta is a speciality. Fresh Scottish fish and shellfish are always on our menu.
Our breakfasts are also legendary.

Some of the best food we ever had during our visit in Edinburgh. All of it coming from the most local of Scottish producers! Staff couldn't have done more and were an absolute delight to converse with, particularly Jack who was a great guide to the city. Special highlights included the venison and the scallops... Can't wait to come back again in the future!

Fresh, beautiful, Italian food is prepared with love.
Our iconic Contadino pasta, with our own recipe spicy sausage, porcini and cremini mushrooms, fresh orecchiette pasta bought direct from Puglia, cream and Parmigiano Reggiano has been on the menu since the day we opened.
Care and attention to detail surrounding every dish from our Ramsay’s of Carluke bacon focaccia with warm unsalted butter gives everyone a reason to join us from breakfast, lunch and dinner.

26ft high ceilings and corinthian columns surround the dining room but the warm grey tones and iconic wall coverings make our restaurant cosy and fun.
Big picture frame windows, soft chandelier lighting, jazz music playing in the background, a warm welcome and cosy booths for couples or for larger groups we welcome all.

The scale of the room is spacious and airy. Each table makes you feel comfortable and gives a great view of the dining room. Our terrace, open in the summer, is the perfect place for people watching.
The Bellavista Private Dining Room comfortably sits up to 16 guests around our purpose built oval dining table located in the former vault of the bank. Your own dedicated server will look after you and your guests.
