WE LOVE CHRISTMAS!
Great food enjoyed with friends and family. It’s never too early to start celebrating so to get us in the mood our decorations are all up by 1st November this year.
Our gold trees are environmentally friendly and recycled annually. We spruce them up from the 1st of December with holly and ivy straight from our Contini Kitchen Garden. Fresh pine branches are added to give that extra Christmas feel.
Please note all our restaurants are closed on the 25th and 26th December to ensure that our team get a well deserved rest.

At The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant we always have turkey.
Our Christmas pudding is our traditional family recipe. We’ve been making it this way for over 60 years.
The Scottish Cafe is a great venue and a superb location to enjoy the city at its best. Lunch with us, enjoy the Scottish National Gallery exhibition whilst you are here, then pop over to Princes Street for your Christmas shopping.
FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA
If you’re looking for something different that’s not lunch or dinner why not book our Festive Afternoon Tea at The Scottish Cafe and Restaurant, which is served daily from noon. One thing for sure is the atmosphere will be busy and fun; we promise you’ll have a cracker of a time.
CONTINI GEORGE STREET IN EDINBURGH’S NEW TOWN – EVERYTHING YOU WANT FROM ITALY
At Contini George Street Christmas is a little more continental. There’s no turkey but we do have all your favourite things including Milanese, pasta, mozzarella, tiramisu and so much more. An Italian festive feast with amazing cocktails to boot.

For parties of 1-16 please book online giving card details in order to confirm your booking. Our max size table is 8 so for 16 guests you would be seated over two tables next to each other. Please note that you will be treated as separate parties for ordering purposes.
For groups of 16+ or to book your own exclusive event please email events@contini.com and our team will get back to you with options and availability.
All bookings require card details in order to confirm your table. If you cancel giving us less than one weeks notice we will charge the card details provided £25 per person. Please note terms & conditions will be different for private hires.
