Porridge is our national breakfast dish. Learn the history and taste what we think is Scotland’s best porridge.

We are excited to be putting our newest building, Cannonball House on the Fringe map this year! Join us for breakfast in August and have a fun, educational anddelicious festival experience to start your day.
Porridge has fed our people, our kings and our armies for centuries. We’ll talk you through its history, how it’s made and the evolution of what is now the dish that starts the day for all real Scots. Ticket price includes a tutored tasting of three different types of porridge and a hot drink.
