Some hae meat an
canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat, and we can eat,
And sae let the Lord be thankit.

– Robbie Burns, The Selkirk Grace

This weekend we celebrate Burns Night at The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant!

You have to be in quick to join our sell-out event, which begins at 7pm with guests being piped in to the restaurant by our in house piper. We pull out all the stops to celebrate the birth of the Scottish bard, with live music, dancing and of course the traditional Burns Night supper of Cullen skink, Findlay’s of Portobello haggis with East Lothian organic neeps and tatties accompanied with a complimentary dram, followed by delicious cranachan with Scottish raspberries and Graham’s The Family Dairy double cream. The haggis is of course piped in and addresses in the traditional manner with Robert Burns famous poem.

Supper is followed by live music and dancing.

Join us next year when we’ll dance the night away all over again!
