We did it! Welcome to the all-new Cannonball Restaurant & Bar

I love it when a plan comes together and what a plan we’ve been working on over the last few months!

Cannonball Restaurant & Bar is finally finished. This has been the longest journey we’ve ever undertaken. When you mix history, culture, the stunning Old Town of Edinburgh and lots of planning then add in great whisky – you end up with a very exciting combination.

We now have the customer cuddle that Cannonball Restaurant had been missing and we had been longing for. Our stunning new bar has transformed the space and you’re going to love it.

With Eyemouth lobster on the menu, over 150 whiskies, stunning views, great Scottish award-winning food and traditional Contini hospitality, we can’t wait to welcome you to Cannonball House and look after you.

Last week we hosted a wee party to officially launch the new bar and our amazing new partnership with Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. We’ve joined with our new family to create the The Glengoyne Room – a very special private event space in the basement level of Cannonball House.

Glengoyne malts are bold with complex flavours and match so well with food. The talented team of chefs at Cannonball Restaurant have created a delicious tasting menu paired with different Glengoyne expressions.

To add to the authentic Scottish atmosphere we’re hosting traditional live folk music every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings to set the scene for a very relaxed and unique experience. We’ll make you feel at home the moment you sit down.

Our new partnership with one of the few independent Scottish family distillers is a perfect marriage for us and we’re delighted to launch The Glengoyne Room as part of this amazing new collaboration. Our new Private Dining Room seats between 15 and 40 guests. It’s the perfect venue for tutored whisky tastings, private dining experiences or cookery demonstrations with me and our team. Our events team are on hand to look after any request.
