Victor and Carina are third generation Italian Scots.
Our families arrived from rural Italy in the early 1900’s and are proud to be sharing their families love of good food while making good choices that care for the environment, our suppliers and our team.
Fresh & local produce
We buy seasonally from a network of over 70 local suppliers in Scotland. Fresh fish is always landed at Scottish ports from Peterhead to Eyemouth. Our meat is always grass-fed and Scottish. Anything we can’t buy in Scotland in season we buy from Italy.
Each of our three restaurants has its own unique personality and that is reflected in the food we serve and the atmosphere of each venue.

This is the best Italian food I ate outside Italy. Everything was perfect! The service was absolutely amazing.. staff are so nice and kind! The restaurant looks absolutely stunning … and the tiramisu is brought from heaven (best tiramisu I’ve ever eat.. sorry Mom but it better than yours..)

Had the lemon sole in parmesan and cream, but also tried the calamari. Both were excellent and some of the best fish seafood I’ve had. Lovely selection of wines by the glass, and a special mention to the lovely and professional staff. A fabulously run restaurant.

Birthday lunch
The restaurant is beautiful with views of the castle, the service and food is impeccable and great value. I had the lobster thermador Mac & Cheese which was phenomenal and portion size was unreal! Can’t recommend this restaurant or its sister restaurants Contini and Scottish cafe

I try to eat fairly plant based and this place has amazing options that weren’t just a garden salad. I got the asparagus to start, and we tried the courgette soup. I cannot stop thinking about that soup. I’m scouring the internet for a recipe. I also got the roasted vegetable salad and it was amazing. I can’t wait to go back.
